The Frogglez Story
"Frogglez Goggles were born out of frustration and a burning desire to help my daughter Olivia have a positive swimming experience."
Several years back I took Olivia, 6 years old back then, to her swim lesson. I, just like every other parent there, wanted her to have a positive experience and had my camera ready for her first official lesson! The room was filled with parents nervously fuzzing over their children, just like me.
Shortly before it was Olivia's turn to get into the water I was trying to adjust and put on her swimming goggles - the water was murky and filled with chlorine - I did not want her eyes exposed to that.
THIS was when the real frustration began. The swimming goggles had rubber straps that pulled on her hair and were impossible to adjust.
There really is no way to express the level of frustration parents experience trying to adjust painful swim goggles on their already nervous kids. I could not believe how ridiculous this product was and looked around to see what other parents were doing. To my surprise they were all struggling with the same problem - the kids were getting cranky and the entire process became a chore rather than a fun experience.
Being the mad scientist inventor I am I went home that night, pulled out my old wetsuits and cut them up into small strips. I then sewed these small strips together to create the first prototype of a comfortable pair of swimming goggles that did not pull hair!
These first prototypes were not pretty but they most certainly were comfortable! My kids were such good troopers, wearing crazy looking early prototypes to the pool and swim lessons.
Over the next few weeks I made hundreds of different versions, testing the fit and comfort until I found a design that worked really well. My kids began wearing these new handmade prototypes to all swim events and parents were asking me where I got them - often I would offer to just make them a pair as they had saved my sanity and my kids loved them.
Everywhere we went people would ask us where we got those cool swim goggles and I always had to tell them that you could not buy them as I made them by hand. Fast forward a few years and in 2013 I was issued a utility patent for the Worlds most comfortable swim goggles.
In 2013 we got second place (should have been first!) at the Grommet Product Launch competition in Boston. This is where Frogglez took of and became a household name for safety and comfort.
Since then I have traveled all around the US presenting my product.
I have a passion for helping people enjoy this amazing life we have been given. To build the confidence necessary to fearlessly explore this world. Life is too short to struggle with painful swimming goggles, so why not give Frogglez a try.

Care instructions for Frogglez Goggles
Rinse your goggles and strap with clean water after each use. Let them air dry before storing them safely away. Never leave FROGGLEZ outside in the sun or heat, as that will shorten the life.
What is anti-fog coating?
All Frogglez Goggles have a special anti-fog coating applied in the factory. It minimizes condensation and fog on the inside of the lenses, which could blur your view. Avoid touching the inside of the lenses. Anti-fog coating deteriorates over time, but touching the inside of the lenses will accelerate the deterioration.
How do I know if the goggles have UV protection?
All Frogglez Goggles, regardless of lens color, have 100% UV protection.
What are the black rings on my goggles?
All FROGGLEZ include a set of optional black extender rings. For smaller kids, set them aside and thread the Velcro strap directly through the goggles. As your child grows up, add the silicone extender to lengthen the strap. You can add and link as many silicone rings as you need to make them fit just right. Click here for instructions.
I lost my extender rings, how can I get more?
